Part Time Truck Driver and General Laborer
Company Description:

Essential Functions:

Performs and logs inspections on equipment, reporting any defects found.

Safely transports freight to destinations while maintaining communication with dispatch.

Maintains transportation records including ELD, bill of ladings, scale tickets, fuel receipts and other load related paperwork.

Employee will familiarize themselves with SDS sheets pertaining to any products or chemicals used along with the required PPE.

Ability to pull, lift and carry heavy objects-max 50 lbs.

Ability to use various hand and power tolls, including a zero-turn mower.

Ability to perform job tasks in a safe manner.
-
Adheres to organizational standards, policies, and procedures including legal regulations while alerting others of potential concerns.
Job Requirements:
-
The candidate must have commercial driving experience with a Class A CDL.
-
Also, must be able to pass a D.O.T. medical examination and drug screening.

Candidates must be able to be dispatched out of Alma, Michigan.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
General Laborer / Driver
Job Description:
If you are a someone that prefers working outdoors and enjoys the reward of a job well done the first time, you should join our excavation team today! The individual must be hardworking, driven, and one that takes pride in their quality of work. Must possess the ability to perform routine manual and semi-skilled work in the excavating industry with a valid CDL A. Responsible for the tools and equipment used in the day-to-day operations.
Essential Functions:

Position requires repeated moderate to heavy physical exertion, frequent moving, walking, along with the ability to pull, lift and carry heavy objects with a maximum of 50 lbs.

Must be able to maintain constant visual or verbal communications with fellow crew members.
-
Ability to follow demonstrated, verbal, or written instructions.
-
Ability to use shovels, rakes, compactors, chainsaws, and other miscellaneous hand and power tools.
-
Flexibility of working safely in all types of weather conditions and terrain.
-
Assists with snowplowing, shoveling, salting, and mowing.
-
Maintain a clean job site and clean-up of all equipment each day.

Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
-
Required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
-
Must have at least 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
