Company Description:

Essential Functions:

• Performs and logs inspections on equipment, reporting any defects found.

• Safely transports freight to destinations while maintaining communication with dispatch.

• Maintains transportation records including ELD, bill of ladings, scale tickets, fuel receipts and other load related paperwork.

• Employee will familiarize themselves with SDS sheets pertaining to any products or chemicals used along with the required PPE.

• Ability to pull, lift and carry heavy objects-max 50 lbs.

• Ability to use various hand and power tolls, including a zero-turn mower.

• Ability to perform job tasks in a safe manner.

• Adheres to organizational standards, policies, and procedures including legal regulations while alerting others of potential concerns.

Job Requirements:

• The candidate must have commercial driving experience with a Class A CDL.

• Also, must be able to pass a D.O.T. medical examination and drug screening.

• Candidates must be able to be dispatched out of Alma, Michigan.

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

 

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)

 

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Required)
